International delivery
How we organise the delivery of our puppies
We raise our puppies in Spain and discuss handover in Spain or selected international destinations. A purchase involving travel needs its own document checks. We review the proposed route before reservation, including the requirements for a commercial movement.

The process
Four steps to the handover
Contact, puppy selection, reservation and handover form the basic process. The route, responsibilities and required documents are checked for each destination before payment.
-
01
Contact
Tell us where the puppy would live and about your daily routine. We can discuss the dogs by WhatsApp, phone or form; a video call may be possible when appropriate. Please do not send medical records.
-
02
Selection
We tell you which litters are available or expected. Around week seven our ethologist assesses each puppy; then we suggest the puppies that could suit you.
-
03
Reservation
€500, deducted in full from the price. Contract to read beforehand. The requirements of your destination are checked at this point, before you pay. Balance by bank transfer in the week before handover.
-
04
Handover
Accompanied, with microchip, health certificate and the vaccinations and documents your destination requires. We agree the place and the date with you.
Within the EU
What a journey to another EU country requires
A puppy moving in connection with a sale or transfer of ownership falls under the commercial movement framework, not simply the rules for an owner travelling privately with an existing pet. Accompanying the puppy yourself does not remove that distinction.
Where valid primary rabies vaccination is required, vaccination is possible from twelve weeks, followed by at least 21 days after completion of the primary protocol. Departure can therefore be considered from around fifteen weeks, subject to the individual dossier. Any exception for young animals must be confirmed for the destination and type of movement.
The European Commission’s commercial movement requirements include an authorised veterinary examination within 48 hours before dispatch, an official health certificate issued by an official vet and notification through TRACES. A passport or ordinary health certificate alone is not enough. Our guide to bringing a puppy from Spain explains the checks in more detail.
Beyond the EU
Destinations outside the EU: studied one at a time
For destinations outside the EU, the importing authority sets the entry conditions and Spain’s competent authorities handle the required export certification. Check the commercial import route, any permits or tests, the waiting periods and the permitted point of entry. A pet passport is not a universal import document.
We assess the proposed destination before reservation. The requirements must be compatible with the puppy’s age and welfare, the available documentation and the route. We do not promise that a country can be served until those points have been checked.
The Spanish Ministry of Agriculture explains the export certification process. We agree who is responsible for each step; only the competent issuer can provide the official certificate. Carrier acceptance must also be confirmed and does not replace permission to import.
The handover
Accompanied, in person, at an agreed place
We do not send puppies alone with a transport company. We discuss accompanied travel and direct handover at an agreed point. Home delivery may be possible in certain destinations, subject to the route and requirements. Collection in Spain is also discussed individually.
Which option applies in your case depends on the puppy's age, the rules of the destination and the route. We settle that before the reservation, so there is nothing unexpected at the end. At the handover we go through the papers together, tell you about the puppy's last week and answer the questions of the first days.
A handover arrangement is separate from a visit to the breeding facility. The agreed place, documents and practical details are confirmed with you before travel.
After arrival
What you take care of once the puppy is home
Ask the destination’s authority which identification registration, owner obligations or local permissions apply and when they must be completed. These vary by place; do not assume the passport registers the puppy automatically in a national database.
Arrange veterinary follow-up after arrival and bring the health and travel records. Your vet can review the puppy’s care plan and advise on any local registration process within their remit.
In short
Three questions about international handover
Is an EU pet passport enough when buying a puppy abroad?
No. A journey connected with a sale or transfer of ownership is not simply private pet travel. Intra-EU commercial movement requires an official health certificate and TRACES notification as well as identification, a passport and the applicable health requirements. Collection by the buyer does not automatically change that classification.
From what age can a puppy travel?
Our minimum handover age is three months. Where valid primary rabies vaccination is required, the earliest possible departure is around fifteen weeks: vaccination from twelve weeks and at least 21 days after completion of the primary protocol. Destination conditions and the individual veterinary dossier can require a later date.
Can you arrange delivery outside the EU?
We assess the proposed destination and route before reservation. Import requirements, Spain’s export certification and carrier conditions must all be checked. An accompanied journey is discussed only where it can be arranged; we do not promise delivery to every country.
The next step
Tell us where you live and we explain the rest
Tell us the country and intended place of residence, along with your expectations for a puppy. We can then discuss availability and assess whether the proposed journey can be arranged.
